The Director of Contracts, Huntsville division, works closely with our Vice Presidents, Business Unit Leads and will lead our Huntsville Contracts Team. This professional will have a diverse background in government contracts administration and compliance as well as comprehensive knowledge of contracting, purchasing, and subcontracts. In-depth knowledge of FAR/DFAR and other applicable government regulations is required.

Responsibilities:

• Active participation in contract preparation, set up, and assist in negotiation processes.
• Reviews and have a thorough understanding of contracts, proposals, agreements, and other documents and ensures compliance.
• Lead and drive process improvements in all areas of contracts including drafting, evaluation, negotiation and execution.
• Manage a team of individuals to include contracts, purchasing, and subcontracts administrators.
• Focus on personal and professional growth of the Contracts Team.

• Experience with CPSR preparation and compliance.
• Experience developing, drafting and leading training for contracts and subcontracts on FAR/DFARS regulations and ensures proper flow-down of clauses.
• Background, knowledge, and understanding of various types of contracts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Hardworking team player with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Over 10 years' high-level experience in Government Contracts.
• Bachelor's degree
