Sigma Healthcare team is currently looking for Ultrasound Tech to work onsite at contracted facilities in Elk Grove Village.
Shift: 14:00 - 22:00
Summary:
Performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations under the direction of and for subsequent evaluation by a Radiologist.
Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities:
Prepares exam room, equipment, accessories and materials as needed for various exams
Performs diagnostic Ultrasound examinations according to department policies
Prepares patients for examination, explains procedures
Monitors patient's condition during exam and reports any unusual occurrences to supervisor
Works professionally with Radiologist on diagnostic procedures
Keeps examination room stocked with necessary supplies and accessories
Performs patient reception, registration, requisition processing and filing in absence of in conjunction with ancillary staff
Completes all essential documentation for patient records
Education:
Graduation from an accredited Ultrasound Program or equivalent required.
Credentials:
Must have Client equipment experience.
ARDMS certification required.
Need ARDMS Venous duplex to r/o DVT required.
Current BLS certification.
