Position Summary
This position is responsible for maintaining appropriate material inventories and consignment warehouse levels.

Essential Job Functions

• Expedite and track the flow of material from shipment to production to ensure productions needs are met
• Weekly review of inventory reporting
• Manage, test, and qualify new supplies/suppliers to ensure a competitive and qualified supply base
• Responsible for collecting technical specifications and food safety documentation
• Conduct supplier evaluations and manage supplier relationships
• Assist plant accounting staff on inventory costing and review to ensure accuracy
• Partner with the dry good staff regarding storage of materials issues as they arise
• Partner with production teams on material usage requirements
• Review / audit any materials to ensure they meet standards before being sent to production
• Prepare ad-hoc reporting, analysis and perform special projects for Management
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors in Business, Accounting or related field
• One (1) year related experience in inventory management supply ordering or related area
• MS Office suite experience to include Excel
