Sightline Hospitality is Hiring a Spa Attendant (Part-Time) - Dr. Wilkinson's Backyard Resort and Mineral Springs Near Calistoga, CA

Dr. Wilkinson’s Backyard Resort and Mineral Springs in Calistoga is looking for a Part-Time Spa Attendant to join our amazing crew! This is a part-time position and is evening shifts 4pm-8pm Saturday through Sunday. This position pays 16.00 an hour, plus commissions and gratuities.

We are looking for candidates that have experience preparing and guiding guests through Mud and Mineral Bath treatments in a Bath House environment.

Dr. Wilkinson’s Backyard Resort and Mineral Springs is an iconic resort and spa destination located in the heart of the charming town of Calistoga, offering time-honored mud bath and spa treatments, healing mineral pool soaks, and the best of Calistoga right outside its doors.

The transformed resort honors its iconic past while looking toward the future with a new mid-century inspired design, 50 completely refreshed guestrooms, restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, a completely re-imagined spa, and the same proven mud bath treatments first shared with the world over 65 years ago. Best-in-class yet playful and approachable, the spa makes the art of mud bathing accessible for all.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

To deliver Hotel standards to every guest.
To be neat and well-groomed in appearance.
To monitor spa locker room, wellness and pool facilities to ensure linens and supplies are in their appropriate places and to replenish all guest supplies to standard.
To continually stock spa lockers with guest supplies.
To assist spa therapists with equipment and supplies for spa.
To help introduce bathing services to guests.
Complete shift checklists and special projects as assigned.
To maintain bathing equipment and sanitation as standard.
To survey pool area constantly to remove stray linens and arrange furniture to standard.
To provide excellent guest service and take ownership of guest needs. Handle all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved to complete satisfaction.
To demonstrate multi-tasking, be flexible with scheduling to meet the needs of the business and maintain a positive and professional demeanor while on duty.
To support any upgrade and incentive programs that management approves.
To embrace the comprehensive safety initiatives and all hotel standards.
To follow all emergency procedures set by Hotel.
To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Fluency in English (verbal and written) and weekend availability are a must.
Prior hospitality, spa or retail experience are a welcome plus.
Prior experience preparing and guiding guests through Mud and Mineral Bath treatments in a Bath House environment.
Good verbal and written English communication skills.
Occasionally required to handle and move objects weighing up to 40 lbs over short distances.
Stands and walks throughout shift.
A passion for guest service and a desire to meet and exceed expectations.
Must be available to work a flexible schedule to include, weekends, and holidays as necessary for the success of the hotel.
Must be reliable, dependable, and punctual as scheduled.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

Must be able to mix heavy Mud Baths/Lift 50 lbs.
Periodically required to work at a very fast pace, under pressure.
Stands and walks throughout shift.
