The Retail Lead exemplifies the role of a leader among sales associates. They demonstrate and coach excellent customer service and selling techniques, resolve customer and associate issues, cultivate team and department collaboration, and develop, inspire, and drive the retail process forward.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead a culture of oneness and trust through encouragement, mentoring, training, and creative problem solving.
• Proactively and creatively lead the Retail Guest Experience.
• Participate with the Retail Leadership Team in decision making, problem solving, accountability, and team building.
• Partner with Supervisor to mentor and develop Retail Seniors.
• Have a strong understanding of POS system and retail procedures, to address employee concerns and issues.
• Assign team members to execute tasks, address guest needs and coach others on exceptional customer service, promotions, and driving sales.
• Hold responsibilities of routinely communicating pertinent information to the Retail team and the Retail leadership team.
• Partner with associates to ensure successful cash handling skills.
• Able to oversee and coordinate actions taken during an emergency situation in public areas involving guests.

Prerequisites:

• Experience in providing exceptional customer service and resolving customer needs

• Experience in the area of retail sales, food, and merchandise
• Skill and experience in delegating, holding others accountable, and conflict mediation
• Emotional resilience during high stress situations
