Sight & Sound Brand is Hiring a Production Manager - Brand Development Near Ronks, PA

The Production Manager - Brand Development provides organizational leadership to the concepting, production, and post-production process within the Brand Development Creative Team by partnering with key members to oversee the budgets and timelines. This position will also lead the logistics planning of company-wide live events.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with the Content Producer, Video Production Manager, Brand Program Manager, Project Manager, and creative execution team leaders to establish, maintain, and hold accountability to the production timeline.
  • Meet with team leaders to proactively calendarize and prepare for upcoming projects. Work with key stakeholders to make a shooting schedule that satisfies the scheduling restrictions of all talent, crew, and location availability.
  • Lead the logistics planning and execution of special events, live broadcasts, and media shoots in partnership with key members of the Brand Development Team and department leaders throughout the organization.
  • Oversee the working budget and account for any budgeting changes during production. Keep stakeholders informed of any deviations from the approved budget.
  • Work with Project Manager to manage team and resource calendars, schedule meetings, and determine resource gaps.
  • Provide leadership for weekly production meetings and company-wide production meetings for special events.
  • Work with the Content Producer to hire crews and contract with external partners, as needed.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by dynamically moving between roles on projects as needed (grip, audio support, technical director, etc.).
  • Monitor the production processes, looking to improve efficiency and collaboration.

Prerequisites:

  • High aptitude for multitasking and working under pressure to meet deadlines with grace and confident tranquility
  • Ability to plan, organize, and administer complex productions with multiple people and moving parts
  • Proven budgeting and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be highly collaborative and have good intuition around proactive communication
  • Flexibility with a schedule that may not always be standard or predictable. Working hours may involve some weekends or evenings during scheduled shoot times.
  • Must understand the production/post-production workflow.
  • Must stay current on trends, technology, and industry, keeping up with the ever-changing requirements of various social platforms.
