Sierra View Senior Living is Hiring a Caregiver Near Grass Valley, CA

We are looking for a competent Caregiver to provide for our clients in a professional and compassionate manner. If you have a heart for the elderly and would like to work in a family oriented environment, please come and check us out. We are flexible, team oriented and a privately owned mid-sized assisted living community. We are reliant on a responsible, caring crew!

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the community
  • Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
  • Help clients with physical therapy exercises
  • Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
  • Be a pleasant and supportive companion
  • Report any unusual incidents
  • Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Skills

  • Experience as a caregiver is a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
  • Knowledge of housekeeping activities and meals with attention to dietary constraints
  • Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
  • Respectful and compassionate
  • Good time management skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ethics
  • Physical endurance
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
