Responsibilities:
Calculate final indirect rates, update rates and run rate retro's as needed in SAP
Ensure configuration of costing sheets are maintained for application of indirect rates
Configure and maintain FPA reports in SAP
Thorough understanding of SAP and PMMO process (i.e. grouping, pegging, distribution)
Perform root cause analysis to Identify and correct pegging errors
Thorough understanding of researching complex cost issues on programs and MO's
Run burdens, settlements, assessments, and distributions in SAP
Analyze and correct issues related to burdens, settlements, assessments, and distributions
Create a variety of entries in SAP to correct labor and non-labor issues
Create projects and ensure settlement profiles are setup correctly in SAP
Assist in managing and creating new cost elements and cost element groups
Perform payroll labor error fixes (cost center/activity type errors) and update SAP tables
Manage charging to the Temporary Project Number is SAP (ensure employees move hours off)
Work with Compliance Team to support Business System audit requests
Work with FP&A, Contracts, Pricing, Supply Chain and other team on variety of topics/issues
Develop and meet regularly with AR and T&E staff and address variety of issues
Support external audit requests (including walking external auditors thru processes/documents)
Support inter-company discussions and efforts (i.e. PO setup, billings, etc.)
Must Haves:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field and5 years of project accounting experience (Government or construction preferred)
2 years SAP ERP experience
Progressive Microsoft Excel data analysis experience including Pivot table, xlookup, etc.
Detail oriented with strong analytical abilities
Ability to work independently on assigned projects
Proficiency with automated accounting systems
Consistently strives to improve processes and gain efficiencies, including participation in the testing of new accounting and other system functionality
Strong organizational and communication skills
Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP
Preferred:
Public accounting and other related experience
Experience with Microsoft Excel data analysis and macros
Working knowledge of FAR, DFAR, CAS, and IFRS
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification or pursuing of CPA or similar certification

Estimated Starting Salary Range:
$91,154.71 - $136,732.06Sierra Space offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
