Accountant/ Full Charge Bookkeeper

Sierra Peaks is seeking an Accountant with solid numerical and analytical skills and excellent attention to detail. The position requires accuracy, dependability, organization skills, and the ability to meet multiple deadlines. Candidates who are interested in learning and career growth should apply! This position is in-office and full time.

Job Responsibilities:

· Preparing financial statements

· Processing payroll

· Recording accounts payable and job costing daily

· Preparing accounts receivable invoices

· Monthly credit card reconciliation

· Posting cash receipts

· Preparing bank deposits

· Reconciling

· Complying with federal, state and local taxing entities on monthly and quarterly returns

· Providing accounting guidance to staff

· Having the ability to work alone and as part of a team

· Other duties as assigned

Required:

3-5 years of experience in Accounting

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Strong analytical skills

Experience with payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and job costing

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Must be a US citizen

Must be able to pass a drug screening test

Preferred:

Experience with ERP Conversions

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
