Sierra Pallet has an opening for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician. This position is full time, we offer benefits, a sign on bonus, and we have weekly pay!

Sierra Pallet is a leading pallet and logistics provider in Northern Nevada and has been since 1997. We are growing and need our new team member to help meet our customers’ demands daily. The ideal candidate has excellent work history with verifiable references.

Job Responsibilities

-Maintain and Repair Broken equipment and machinery

-Complete Scheduled Preventative Maintenance on equipment and Machinery

-Maintain Electrical systems, Pneumatic Systems, Hydraulic Systems, Truck and Trailer Repair, Forklift Repair. Etc.

Job Skills & Qualifications

-Preferred minimum of 1 year of verifiable welding and fabrication experience

-Preferred minimum of 1year of verifiable mechanical experience

-Preferred minimum of 1 year of electrical experience

-Preferred minimum of 1 year of Pneumatic experience

-Preferred minimum of 1 year of driving a Forklift

-Must have your own Tools.

-Must have strong verbal and written communication

-Must have experience in maintaining shop records

-Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, squat, and stand with no limitations

-Must have a high sense of pride and strong attention to detail

-Must be able to work and complete tasks with little supervision

-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently without assistance

-MUST have verifiable work history

Benefits

-Competitive pay starting at $25-35 per hour DOE with room for quick advancement (contingent upon performance and knowledge.)

-Shift Monday – Friday from 6:30 am-3:00pm

- Sign on bonus after 90 days of employment.

-Monthly Bonus (contingent upon review of attendance and performance)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
