Job Summary: Scans medical record documents into the EMR system. Responds to medical records requests.

Educational Requirements:

* High school diploma- Completion of technical program preferred

Qualifications and Skills:

* Ability to prioritize work flow in a fast-paced environment

* Strong communication skills with staff, physicians and patients

* High level of computer proficiency

* Good analytical and problem-solving skills

* Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines

* Medical records experience a plus

* Knowledge of medical terminology a plus

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Scanning medical documents into EMR system

* Responding to medical records requests/questions

* Retrieving medical records documents from the offices for scanning

* Disposal of scanned medical records

* Miscellaneous medical records duties as assigned

Compensation: $16-$25/hr
