Sierra Pacific Arthritis & Rheumatology Centers - Visalia is Hiring a Front Desk Medical Receptionist Near Visalia, CA

We are seeking for a Part-time Bilingual Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our team and provide excellent customer service to our patients in our Fresno office. The work schedule is 8:00am - 5:00pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

The ideal candidate will be able to handle a variety of tasks, such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, collecting payments, and answering phones. The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Schedule new and follow-up appointments for patients.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and medical histories.
  • Collect patient information, including insurance information, for billing purposes.
  • Verify insurance coverage and benefits.
  • Provide general information about the practice, services, and rheumatology treatments.

Qualifications:

  • Prior medical office experience and basic medical terminology preferred.
  • EMR proficient; CareCloud and NextGen preferred.
  • Bilingual - English & Spanish
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Team player and multitasker.
  • Medical Assistant Certification (CMA) a plus.
  • BLS Certification a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
