Sierra Health Wellness Centers is Hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Near Reno, NV
Licensed Vocational Nurse LPNWe are not looking for job seekers. We want changemakers! Sierra Health and Wellness Centers use evidence-based methods to accomplish restoration of families, relationships, and self-worth. By transforming the character, we give life back to the people who have lost it through substance abuse and mental health issues. Our newly remodeled inpatient facility houses 10 clients who receive specialized and personal care from our staff. Located in Reno, NV. Opportunity for advancement and merit raises. Positions available:
- Full-time
- 12 hour shifts, Days, Mon Tues every other Sat & Sun
- Competitive pay

- Supervise other licensed and non-licensed staff in the day-to-day delivery of patient care.
- Prepare and review medical records and nurses' notes to evaluate the resident's physical and emotional status.
- Provide nursing care according to the Physician's orders, care plans, established standards, policies and procedures.
- Prepare and monitor patient-administered medications as ordered by the physician in accordance with nursing standards and facility policies.
- Sign, date, and perform all charting, record-keeping, and care plans in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Provide outstanding individualized resident care
- Engages with multiple disciplinary teams to advance patient progress toward goals.
- Supports maintenance of a safe environment of care at the facility.
- Supports care coordination activities to outside appointments and access to medications.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License in the State of Nevada.
- Must possess a High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Familiarization with HIPAA/client confidentiality and personal rights.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a related field.
- Two to five years of experience in a nursing role.
- Two to five years of experience in the mental health and/or addiction field
