Housekeeper/ Security
Sierra Health and Wellness Centers use evidence-based methods to accomplish the restoration of families, relationships, and self-worth. By transforming the character, we give life back to the people who have lost it through substance abuse and mental health issues. Our inpatient facility located in Monterey, CA houses 22 clients who receive specialized and personal care from our staff. Our historic, remodeled mansion is located in stunning Monterey, with ocean views.Positions available:

Full-time- Friday - Tuesday (8pm-3:30-am)

Essential Functions:

Performs general sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping of floors.
Maintains all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products, and ensures safe and sanitary storage and care of products.
In charge treatments such as stain-removal as needed.
Disposes of trash from bins and trash receptacles.
Dusts and polishes furniture, room accessories, and high touch surfaces.
Scrubs sinks and toilets in bathrooms.
Cleans windows, mirrors, and counters.
Keeps all public spaces neat and tidy.
Sanitizes all doorknobs, counters, and hard surfaces.
Reports repairs and replacements needed when observed.
Maintains adequate inventory of cleaning supplies in conjunction with leadership.
Conducts and documents all safety checks.
Ensures the building is secure when patrolling facility grounds.
Monitors property entrances and secures all exits, doors, and windows.
Submits written reports of daily activity.
Reports any suspicious behaviors and incidents.
Assists in aiding clients as needed.
Assists with intakes including searches.
Assists with client care to ensure clients are comfortable at the facility.
Other duties as assigned.

Education and minimum qualification:

Possess High School diploma or GED equivalent.
California Driver’s License

Preferred education and experience:

Associates degree in related field.

Hourly: $20.43 - $26.57 The posted pay range is a reasonable estimate that the organization believes in good faith it may pay for this particular job based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
