Associate Clinical Social Worker, Associate Professional Clinical Counselor or Associate Marriage & Family Therapist opportunity!

Our inpatient facility houses 12 clients who receive specialized and personal care from our staff. 15 acres, located in scenic Bangor, (15 minutes outside of Oroville). 
Positions Available: 

• full time- with one weekend day per week
• Per-Diem (does not include all benefits)

• 2 units of supervision towards licensure,
• Associates are able to claim their full 32-40 hour workweek toward their licensure

• Performs journey-level professional casework and clinical services with mentally and emotionally disturbed clients
• Assesses and monitors clients’ behaviors while in treatment for chemical and alcohol abuse and dependency.
• Works as a team member with other professionals
• Participates in evaluative and diagnostic staff conferences
• Conducts individual, family, and group therapy; interviews clients and relatives
• Participates in collaborative treatment with representatives of other agencies
• Prepares verbal, written, and statistical reports
• Attends conferences, workshops, and training to maintain current awareness of mental health methodologies and issues
• Operates a personal computer and other office equipment
• Communicates effectively with others in person and over the telephone
• Analyze data, interpret directions, procedures and regulations, and develop appropriate responses
• Perform job duties under stressful conditions
• May be assigned some lead and special work coordination responsibilities

• Must possess a master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or professional counseling 
• Must obtain an associate registration number with the Board of Behavioral Sciences
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License 
• Two-year experience in Drug and Alcohol counseling (preferred, not required)
