Sierra Health Care is Hiring a Clinical Director (RN) (LPN) - Sierra Hills Assisted Living Near Truth or Consequences, NM

Sierra Health Care is proud to announce an excellent opportunity for a qualified nurse to serve as Clinical Director of Sierra Hills Assisted Living. With beautiful Elephant Butte Lake nearby, this established senior campus, located in Truth or Consequences, has been providing exceptional assisted living, skilled rehabilitation, long term care, home health, and hospice services to the heart of southern New Mexico for over 30 years. Responsibilities:

  • Effective facility, compliance & clinical management
  • Maintain appropriate facility staffing and retention
  • Monitor resident care and services to achieve quality outcomes and high customer satisfaction
  • Execute staffing development goals as facility census reaches capacity
  • Responsible for financial performance and management of all clinical operations of the facility
  • Responsible for annual budget, P&L analysis, and reviews, statistical and financial reports
  • Monitoring and maintenance of accurate medical records for billing, auditing, and regulatory compliance within approved company guidelines
  • Responsible for managing and monitoring all departments for regulatory compliance
  • Monitor and evaluate programs to promote the recruitment, retention, career development and continuing education of staff
  • Organize and direct committees and meetings per company policies

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of applicable nursing and proven management experience
  • Must have a proven track record of integrity and performance, and an in-depth knowledge of senior living & LTC (customer satisfaction; employee satisfaction; regulatory compliance; clinical; financial)
  • Embrace the standards, values, and beliefs of the organization
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Exemplary organizational skills
  • Must exhibit sound judgment making skills, patience and compassion
  • Strong analytic and business skills
  • Ability to maintain effective relationships with residents, family members, staff members and stakeholders
  • Possess the flexibility to approach skilled nursing and long term care services through a hospitality based model
