The Retro Installer plays a vital role in retrofitting and upgrading existing HVAC systems to improve energy efficiency, functionality, and overall performance. Their primary objective is to assess, plan, and execute retrofit projects to enhance the comfort and efficiency of residential and commercial spaces.

RESPONSIBILITIES

HVAC Expertise: In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and retrofit techniques, as well as familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in installing, troubleshooting, and servicing HVAC equipment and components, including electrical and mechanical systems.

Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues, develop effective solutions, and implement retrofit plans to improve system performance.

Attention to Detail: Attention to detail to ensure accurate installation, alignment, and calibration of HVAC equipment and components during retrofit projects.

Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to interact with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders involved in retrofit projects, conveying technical information clearly and professionally.

Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks associated with retrofit installations.
