** Job Description**

**Position Overview**

Siemens Industry, Inc. is seeking a warehouse supervisor to oversee the production kitting, order fulfillment and warehouse processes within its Houston facility. The supervisor will be responsible for overseeing of warehouse employees working within the production kitting and outbound materials. The supervisor will be responsible for a team of approximately 8 warehouse personnel. This position reports to the Houston Warehouse & Logistics Manager for Siemens Industry, Inc.

**Responsibilities**

Maintains warehouse staff job results by measuring, monitoring and coaching warehouse team Ensure good condition of facility/equipment through regular audit and implementation of preventative maintenance protocols Actively engage with internal customers within production and customer service Conducts personnel planning to ensure labor resources are balanced with demand Ensures warehouse staffing needs through recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees Monitor and maintain warehouse kitting workload and reporting Troubleshooting inventory put away, picking and kitting errors; Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions Guide and manage adjustments and configuration to SAP including storage, put away, picking and kitting processes Ensure compliance with inventory cycle count and control processes Collaborate across departments to ensure efficient workflow and positive working relationships among teams Primary trainer responsible for development of employees on all aspects of job performance including safety, quality and business processes Assisting in the administration of the training program Identify, propose, and implement lean process improvement ideas and opportunities Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations

**Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience**

High School Diploma 3-5 Years of experience in warehouse, customer service/order management or production Proficiency in MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel Ability to analyze data and provide value-add insight to support warehouse operations Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines Experience using ERP / SAP 0% travel required Where permitted by applicable law, Siemens may require employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 based on job requirements, and in accordance with an accommodation based on legally protected reasons.

**Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience**

Some college preferred 3-5 years of experience in leadership roles Leadership experience in a high-mix pick/pack operation Experience with operating and maintaining a variety of warehouse material handling equipment Extensive experience with SAP, specifically IM / WM module Experience with warehouse scanning equipment and applications Lean or Lean Six Sigma yellow / green belt certification 10 years of experience
