Delivery Driver

We are looking for motivated people to come work for a growing international delivery company in the Olympia area. Over the past 9 months we have experienced amazing growth, there is a new way of doing business and that is online and shopping online, this trend is here to stay! This will be a Part-time, floater position. You will work on an on-call basis. The right candidate would work when we need shifts covered because of driver call outs or vacations. There would also be some opportunities to pickup shifts if we have an unusually busy day. This is a fast pace position that will keep you moving and meeting new people.

Delivery Driver Key Responsibilities:

• Successfully handle and deliver packages on time
• Safely driving company vehicle:
• Climb out of vehicle and walk up down stairs as required in all weather conditions
• Ability to stand multiple hours a day and work in a physically demanding environment
• Work with support team to provide exceptional customer service and address customer concerns
• Ability to function calmly and efficiently in high-pressure, multi-tasking environment
• Deliver packages in variable locations and stops
• Load and unload products from company vehicles
• Follow local and state driving laws and road regulations
• Operate scanner to record shipping and package information
• Maintain good work habits, including reporting to work on time and adhering to standard work and safety procedures

Delivery Driver Requirements:

• 21 years of age or older
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Must be able to speak and read English
• Must be flexible with work schedule including weekends - due to business needs
• Must have knowledge of state driving laws
• Must successfully pass background checks and drug screening
• Must have clean driving record (no more than 2 speeding tickets within the last 3 years and no more than one at fault accident)

Delivery Driver Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 70lbs most of the packages are between 1- 20lbs
• Must be able to handle stressful workload and driving demands
• Must be able to walk, climb stairs, reach overhead, squat, bend, kneel, stoop and crouch repeatedly during work shift.
