The Role: As a Procurement Specialist, you'll play a vital role in our operations by reporting to the Sr. Director - Indirects. You'll be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing the procurement of orders for maintenance, repair, and operating supplies, Capital Projects, service contractors, and packaging products. Your goal will be to reduce costs, meet plant requirements, and minimize risk.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Vet suppliers, set up, and manage changes, ensuring their financial health.
• Scrutinize supplier information from Requests for Quotations (RFQs) for accuracy and completeness.
• Issue requisitions, change order requests, and oversee material and service receipts.
• Approve invoices and monitor and correct project invoices to ensure progress milestones are met and correct amounts are paid.
• Follow up on missed target dates for supplier drawing submittals.
• Provide necessary documents, such as purchase orders, to appropriate engineering companies.
• Compile Certificates of Insurance and Bank Guarantees.
• Issue Non-Awards for engineering company bid events.
• Drive procurement excellence by managing key processes such as WAT, Cost Savings, EBITDA impact, Supplier Development, Deep Dives, etc.
• Offer ideas to streamline transactions and suggest best practices to enhance team efficiency.

Creating Extraordinary Starts With:

• Bachelor's Degree; equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of degree
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Access, Outlook, Excel, Word), 
• Experience with SAP, SAP Business Warehouse, and document control software preferred

• The salary range for this position is $56,689-$102,000 annually. The specific salary offered will be determined by a variety of factors including location, experience, and education.
