The Field Mechanic will provide maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of various types of mobile heavy equipment in locations in any of the following areas: crushing, excavation, grading, sewer & water utility lines, culverts and storm drain and heavy civil project throughout Montana.

Requires: repetitive movement, bending or twisting; using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls; While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to walk, stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders, and work on elevated platforms, possibly for extended periods standing; climbing and balancing; contact with others; working in extremely bright or inadequate lighting conditions; working in very hot (above 90 F degrees) or very cold (below 32 F degrees) temperatures; working outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions and lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance, wearing common protective or safety equipment, as well as specialized equipment based on environmental hazards.
Must be willing to travel in Montana and Work Out of Town.
