Samaritan Health Services a non-profit integrated health care delivery system, is seeking a full-time Outpatient Psychiatrist to join our team in Newport, OR.

Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital, established in 1952, is home to a recently constructed 25-bed critical access hospital. The hospital located in the coastal community of Newport, Oregon, serves residents and tourists of Depoe Bay, Newport, Toledo, Waldport and Yachats.

Our award-winning health system provides exceptional primary care and a range of specialty services throughout the mid-Willamette Valley and Central Oregon coast. The network serves approximately 300,000 residents in Linn, Benton, Lincoln and portions of Polk and Marion counties. Job Specifics

• Financial incentives include starting bonus, relocation and loan assistance funds
• Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm; hybrid approach requires 1 day on-site weekly, with the option to work telehealth/remotely on additional days
• No overnight call!
• Full-time is 34 patient contact hours/week; average volume is 10-12 patients/day
• Visit types include initial evaluations, medication consultation/management, and limited therapy
• Join a well-established, full spectrum mental health program, with role based in Newport, OR.

Job Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry (new grads encouraged to apply!)
• Current Oregon Licensure or license eligible
• BCLS certified
• Knowledge in working with patients who have chronic health conditions
• Eligibility to work in the United States
