Location: Shrivers Pharmacy – Nelsonville, Ohio

Immediate Supervisor Title: General Manager (Key Holder in the absence of the General Manager)

General Summary: A nonexempt, sales clerk position responsible for greeting and assisting customers in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner. This position is also responsible for receiving telephone calls and answering customer inquiries in the same manner.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

1. Completes inventory counts and places orders.

2. Greet and serve customers in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.

3. Keep assigned area neat and clean as well as stocked and faced.

4. Be able to operate all aspects of the POS system.

• Process sales
• Process returns
• Process checks
• Process payment on accounts
• Process payment by credit card

5. Accurately make change.

6. Reconcile cash drawers and process change order.

7. Reconcile utility bill, gift card receipts, and ATM.

8. Be aware of and promote store incentive programs such as Customer Loyalty Card and be able to activate gift cards.

9. Process Food Stamps and WIC payments

10. Know proper store closing processes including lock up procedure.

11. Be able to operate key cutting equipment.

12. Other duties as assigned by management.

Experience: One year experience as a cashier preferably in a retail pharmacy setting.

Hours: Scheduled within store hours of operation which are Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m.– 7:00 p.m., Saturday 9:00 a.m.-3 p.m., and Sunday Closed
