Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We currently have an opening for a Physicians Assistant to join our team in our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in our Galveston, Texas location.
The Physician Assistant provides comprehensive, evidenced based health care services to the pediatric population in our PICU and Inpatient Units. The PA obtains comprehensive health history, performs physical examinations, formulates a plan of care and treatment, prescribes/performs diagnostic and therapeutic interventions and procedures and participates in patient and family education.
Schedule for this position is 4/10 shifts, with weekend coverage.
