Job Overview :
Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center.
We have an opportunity for a Department Assistant II in Patient Access.
Responsibilities :
The Department Assistant II assists in the scheduling and registering of established patients (backup for new patients) according to the established policies and procedures adopted by the Patient Access Department and in accordance with Shriners Childrens Lexington policies and procedures.
Monday Friday, 32 hours per week. Closed weekends and major holidays.
Parking is at no cost to the employee.
Shriners Childrens Lexington is an EOE / Drug-Free, Smoke-Free Workplace.
Qualifications :
Education
High School Diploma or GED required
Experience
Six months scheduling / registration in a healthcare setting preferred.
Six months computer knowledge required.
