Job Overview

Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for an on-call Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner.

Responsibilities

The Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner (APNP) performs general patient histories and physical examinations; provides Inpatient Unit nursing care for inpatients; provides orientation and teaching to Medical Staff residents; provides program development and teaching.

Qualifications

Education

MSN required

Certification/Licensure

RN licensure in Oregon required

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification required

BLS through American Heart Association is required

Experience

3 years Nurse Practitioner, Pediatric and/or Orthopedic experience required

Other

Current full vaccination status required
