Showhomes San Diego - Home Staging is Hiring a Part-Time - Logistics and Warehouse Supervisor, Home Staging Company Near San Marcos, CA

Showhomes San Diego is part of a 35 year old, nation-wide home staging company. We furnish and decorate higher end homes on the market for sale. Come help us sell luxury homes by making them look beautiful.

We are looking for a PART-TIME Logistics and Warehouse Supervisor. You will also help our moving staff load/unload and move furniture for our staging projects in support of our stagers/designers and our professional movers. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Duties Include:

- Assisting our designers with physical staging support including moving furniture, packing and unpacking of accessories and furnishings, touching up furniture, cleaning furniture, taking down curtains, patch and paint, errands, and eventually furniture placement, hanging art work.

- Warehouse inventory management. Includes as needed organization projects, inventory management using our StageForce software, recommendations on efficiency, etc.

- Assist in our weekly logistics planning meetings. Includes assisting in scheduling and planning our in-house/contract movers and trucks, and planning our move in/move outs for future jobs.

Requirements Include:

- Minimum 3 years experience as a warehouse manager and/or logistics coordinator at a moving company or similar.

- Minimum 2 years experience as a professional mover. Must be very familiar with loading/unloading with attention to minimizing damage and breakage, Must know how to use proper lifting techniques to avoid injury, and other on-the-job-safety skills.

- Good physical condition. Must be able to be on feet for several hours a day, be able to at least lift 50 lbs. and able to climb a 15 ft. ladder.

- Experience driving a 16 Ft. or larger box truck.
- Must have reliable transportation, car insurance and a valid California driver's license with clean record.
- Must have good customer service skills and the ability to communicate with customers/Showhomes staff in a professional manner.
- Must be able to follow sometimes complex daily itineraries and verbal directions from Showhomes staff.

- Must be able to handle driving to multiple pick ups in one day.
- Must be prompt to the job site and able to find job addresses easily using GPS on a smart phone.

Pay rate is $22-$25/hr., depending on experience. Hours: PART-TIME, 20-30 hours per week, may grow to more hours in the future. Hours vary by season.
