Position Overview:

As a Solar Consultant at Shoreline Solar, you'll have the exciting opportunity to help homeowners and businesses transition to clean, renewable energy. You will be the driving force behind our mission to make solar power and roofing solutions accessible to all. Whether it's educating clients about solar benefits, designing customized systems, or discussing reroofing options, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping a sustainable future. This commission-based role offers the potential for lucrative earnings, upfront draw options, volume bonuses, and even the chance to build your own team under our trusted brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with potential customers in Connecticut, the Five Boroughs of NYC, and/or Long Island, offering solar and roofing solutions.
  • Educate clients on the advantages of solar energy, PPA, lease, loan, and cash purchase options.
  • Conduct on-site or virtual assessments to tailor solar systems and roofing solutions to individual needs.
  • Provide accurate quotations and proposals.
  • Collaborate with installation and roofing teams to ensure a seamless transition from sale to installation.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Leverage Shoreline Solar's brand to build your own sales team.
  • Participate in ongoing training and stay updated on industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • No previous experience is required; we provide comprehensive training.
  • A passion for clean energy and sustainability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit with a desire to build your own team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
