Position Type: Full-Time, Monday through Friday, Every Other Wednesday

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Sterilization Technician to join our dynamic team. The Sterilization Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sterilization of dental instruments and equipment, ensuring a safe environment for both patients and staff. This full-time position requires availability from Monday to Friday, with every other Wednesday off.
Sterilization and Disinfection
- Clean, sterilize, and disinfect dental instruments, equipment, and operatories following established protocols and guidelines.
- Monitor and maintain sterilization equipment, including autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners, ensuring proper functionality and routine maintenance.
Infection Control
- Adhere to infection control procedures and safety standards to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a hygienic environment.
- Properly dispose of biohazardous waste according to OSHA and CDC guidelines.
Support Duties
- Assist dental staff with setting up and breaking down treatment rooms before and after patient appointments.
- Ensure that all instruments and equipment are readily available and properly organized for dental procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a dental or medical setting, particularly in sterilization or as a dental assistant, is preferred.
- Knowledge of sterilization techniques, infection control procedures, and dental instruments.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
- Certification in dental sterilization or related field is a plus but not required.
