We are currently accepting applications for Class A or Class B CDL Delivery Drivers. Shore Distributors Delivery Drivers make merchandise deliveries and pickups to job sites, customer workshops and other Shore Distributors facilities. Drivers also work within the Shore Distributors distribution center loading trucks and providing various warehouse shipping and receiving functions.

Shore Distributors, Inc. Delivery Driver CDL Class A / Class B Job Requirements Know laws, rules and regulations governing driving motor vehicles in general and in particular the rules and guidelines governing commercial vehicles subject to Department of Transportation regulations. Know of, be able to learn, apply and practice safety precautions in a warehouse and material handling environment.
Must be able to maintain a positive working relationship with customers, vendors and co-workers and be able to remain calm and function effectively in stressful, unexpected, and/or emergency situations.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English, as well as add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Education, Training and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• A proper and valid Class “A” or Class “B” CDL driver’s license.
• A driving record that demonstrates good driving skills and sound judgment (must include recent driving record with application)
• Must pass a Department of Transportation physical examination before beginning work; to be kept updated as required
• Prior driving and delivery experience is preferred
• HVAC experience is helpful
• Physical Demands necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
• Routinely able to lift up to 75 pounds
• Routinely carry up to 50 pounds
• Routinely Push/Pull up to 300 pounds
• Sitting/Driving (in truck) 40% Standing 10% Walking 50%
• Strength Level is demanding, physical and active
• The physical demands of this position also require the ability to routinely crouch, kneel, stoop, climb and reach.
