Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a proven track record in managing warehouse processes and teams. As the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective warehouse operations, overseeing inventory management, coordinating shipping and receiving activities, loading and unloading trucks, and implementing strategies to optimize productivity and profitability.

Duties:

- Manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving processes

- Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards

- Oversee the use of warehouse management systems (WMS) such as AS400 to track inventory levels, monitor stock movements, and generate reports

- Collaborate with production planning teams to ensure timely delivery of goods to meet customer demands

- Coordinate transportation planning to optimize delivery routes and minimize costs

- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions

- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of inventory records and resolve any discrepancies

- Manage a team of warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as procurement and finance, to ensure smooth operations and achieve budgetary goals

- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in warehouse management

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role in a fast-paced environment

- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), preferably AS400

- Familiarity with production planning processes and shipping/receiving operations

- Proficient in transportation planning and logistics management

- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions

- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to implement effective solutions

- Proven track record in managing profit loss within a warehouse setting

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
