JOB: STORE MANAGER -- Full Time (Old Town Alexandria, VA)

The Shop Manager is responsible for their stores overall performance. Shop Managers ensure their store performance meets all expectations by leading their team, ordering and managing inventory, executing/delegating operational tasks, etc. Shop Managers exemplify the mission of Shop Made and make all decisions in the interest of the growth of our makers and the health of our store teams. Shop Managers are the point person between the Region Manager and the store teams, and they are responsible for executing the vision of the Leadership Team in a positive and impactful way.

RESPONSIBILIES:

Analyze sales performance and create actionable plans to achieve sales goals.

Understand the cause of sales trends, and demonstrate the ability to adjust daily goals and plans to meet the demands of the business.

Manage monthly payroll budget and P&L

Lead by example at all times - from customer interactions to maker relations to team communication, be seen as a role model.

Support the team by ensuring all team members have the tools and knowledge they need to perform their duties to their full capability.

Maintain inventory levels by ordering new inventory when directed, and reordering inventory from individual makers.

Maintain a high and up-to-date knowledge of featured makers.

Support Shop Made mission by sharing maker knowledge with customers.

Oversee in-store promotional events, weekly classes, and weekly DIY events.

Oversee community engagement for their shop.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 per year
