Shooters Sports Grill is hiring immediately for an Assistant Restaurant General Manager to join their team!

The Assistant General Manager is an integral part of our management teams. They are responsible for supporting the General Manager in all daily operations and performance of their specific unit, and also serve as a representative of that unit as it pertains to making larger company wide initiatives and decisions with the rest of the team.

Their specific responsibilities encompass a supportive approach to staffing and labor management, sales projections and building, inventory and order management, cash reconciliation and handling, and maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of their specific unit, while reporting to the General Manager

Assistant Restaurant General Manager Job Responsibilities:

• Be a hospitality coach - teach your team to display the same level of hospitality whether or not you’re in the building
• Interact and engage with our guests both in the dining room and from the kitchen.
• Support the hiring process with the GM by participating in the interview, hiring, and scheduling process
• Maintain the highest standards of the employees as it pertains to punctuality, dress code, and job functions through progressive coaching and discipline
• Work with the GM to establish and adhere to a comprehensive food management program that ensures the appropriate quantities and qualities of our food SKUs
• Execute weekly/daily ordering from the commissary and our purveyors for all necessary food/paper goods/supplies needed in the unit
• Promote good cash handling practices by exercising accountability towards any cash overages/shortages
• Make regular deposits based on expected deposit amounts from POS
• Maintain opening and closing procedural checklists to make sure that the unit is opened and closed to a specific standard
• Maintain daily/weekly cleaning tasks in order to keep the unit good as new
• Run neat and organized shifts throughout the kitchen and dining room. Delegate your team to maintain these areas
• Hire/Promote and develop a team of hourly shift supervisors to exercise management functions when you and the GM are not present.
• Function as the GM when he/she is not present.
