We offer a great place to grow a career for a Commercial Plumber with at least 5 years of experience. Plumbersassemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings and fixtures of water and drainage systems, according to plan specifications and plumbing codes. Our Plumbers fabricate, assemble, install, and repair plumbing components under the direct supervision of skilled foremen. The successful candidate will have experience working well in large commercial/industrial worksites, strong professional skills, and a desire to grow in ability and responsibility.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes.
• Assemble pipe sections, tubing and fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing and welding equipment.
• Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks.
• Study building plans/inspect structures to assess material and equipment needs, establish the sequence of pipe installations, and to plan installation around obstructions such as electrical wiring.
• Locate and mark the position of pipe installations, connections, passage holes, and fixtures in structures, using measuring instruments such as rulers and levels.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angle, using hand and power tools or machines suet as pipe cutters, pipe-threading machines, and pipe-bending machines.
• Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, and appliances.
• Cut openings in structures to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings, using hand and power tools.
• Install Hangers from ceiling joists to hold pipes in place.
• May be asked to direct workers engaged in pipe cutting and preassembly and installation of plumbing systems and components.
• Install underground storm, sanitary and water piping systems and extend piping to connect fixtures and plumbing to these systems.

Experience, Training, and/or Certifications:

• 5 or more years of Plumbing experience
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Verifiable Journeyman status through schooling and hours worked.

• Proficiency in electrical and mechanical diagnostics.
• Familiarity with blueprint, schematic, drawings, and other equipment layout materials.
• Ability to pass a full background screening and drug screening.
• Ability to pass a physical ability test.
• Ability to travel, as needed, for projects.
• Ability to pass MVR check.
