What you should know:

The Keyholder assists the Store Manager with daily operations of a shoe store in order to maximize sales and maintain operational company standards.

· Management/supervisory skills required.

· Retail experience preferred.

· Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

· Must have a passion for excellent customer service.

· Must be available various hours, including nights and weekends.

· Must be able to operate company computer systems.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Train and develop retail sales associates to deliver outstanding performance
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sales targets
- Recruit, hire, and onboard new employees
- Create employee schedules and manage shift rotations
- Maintain inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management
- Implement visual merchandising standards to enhance store appearance
- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement training programs for staff development

Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail sales or management role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent sales and customer service skills
- Proficient in time management and multitasking
- Knowledge of recruiting and hiring practices
- Ability to effectively manage shifts and prioritize tasks
- Familiarity with store management procedures and systems
- Training development experience is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
