SHOE SHOW, INC., the country’s largest privately held footwear retailer in business 63 years with more than 1,000 stores in 47 states, is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Manager to join our team. This position requires significant travel and Retail industry experience is highly preferred!
What you should know:
The Commercial Real Estate Manager will identify, locate, negotiate, and open new stores within a specific geographic territory that includes SHOE SHOW, SHOE DEPT., and Half-Moon Outfitters concept locations. They will help to expand over-performing stores within a territory, relocate stores out of specific locations, and help identify potential new store sites throughout their territory. 5 years of Commercial Real Estate leasing experience is required.
What you will do:
· Determine site values through market research.
· Analyze and generate reports through various types of demographic software.
· Negotiate Letters of Intent (LOI’s) and administer company lease terms with landlords.
· Assist with lease negotiations in conjunction with SHOE SHOW, INC.’s internal legal department.
· Develop and present high quality, error-free site presentations to company executives and Real Estate Committee.
· Participate in preparing lease agreements and perform other activities necessary to the efficient management of company properties.
· Coordinate and assist in the build-out and maintenance of company stores with SHOE SHOW, INC.’s Construction department.
· Evaluate store performance as it relates to markets and/or shopping centers.
· Work hand-in-hand with real estate brokers, municipalities, Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), and private real estate investors throughout the country.
· Attend trade events nationwide, as required.
