We are looking for an Assitant manager to join our Southampton Team. With 30 years of establishing a prestigious presence in the Hamptons, our family-owned women's shoe boutique is celebrated as the most well-known shoe store in the area. With three prime locations within the Hamptons, we pride ourselves on creating a close-knit family atmosphere and emphasize promoting from within, having seen many of our leaders start as sales associates. We are currently seeking a passionate Assistant Manager who excels in a fast-paced retail environment. We create a family-like atmosphere and offering a stable, year-round employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily store operations and aim to exceed sales targets.
• Lead by example in providing excellent customer service, managing inventory, and executing effective marketing strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with both new and existing clients.
• Address customer concerns and ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
• Delegate tasks to ensure efficient store functionality and compliance with health and safety standards.
• Supervise and motivate the sales team towards achieving sales goals.
• Adjust staffing schedules, handle disputes, and maintain a positive shopping environment.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related role.
• Proven track record in retail management and leadership.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Detail-oriented and capable of meeting tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively train staff and boost sales.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
