Shodair is excited to announce our new Mental Health Aide position! Mental Health Aides provide support to other unit staff to help provide direct care to children concerning hygiene, safety, meal supervision, monitoring in school, interactions with other children and activities on and off the unit. Mental Health Aides spend a majority of their time providing direct patient care, making it a fast paced, fun, and rewarding job! 

MHA's have the option of working, 12 hour, 9 hour, 8 hour, or 4 hour shifts, which is a great fit for college students or someone looking for a flexible second job! 

Requirements

Preferred education and experience—High school diploma or equivalent.

Must be at least 18 years of age. 

Schedule

Shodair Children’s Hospital is a 24 hour per day, 7 day per week facility. Schedules are assigned in order to accommodate the needs of the Hospital and individual departments.
