Job Summary: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Community Habilitation Positions. In this role, you will provide direct support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities, helping them to achieve their goals and enhance their quality of life. Experience in working with people on the autism spectrum and knowledge of special education practices are highly valued. Responsibilities: - Provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their community settings - Assist with daily living activities (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration - Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors - Support individuals in developing social skills, communication skills, and independence - Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to create individualized plans and goals - Collect data and maintain accurate records of progress and outcomes Experience: - Previous experience in direct support or caregiving roles is preferred - Knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL) is a plus - Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies - Experience working with people on the autism spectrum or individuals with developmental disabilities - Understanding of special education practices We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages for our Community Habilitation Positions.
