Shive-Hattery’s West Des Moines (preferred) Iowa City or Cedar Rapidsoffice has an immediate opening for Landscape Architect with 7to 15 years of experience.

Experience required:

• An advanced understanding of the field of landscape architecture and the ability to collaborate across discipline boundaries and have strong communication skills to present ideas to internal team members as well as the public and clients.
• Plans, directs and supervises the landscape architectural aspects in the development of project deliverables.
• Assist in project management and quality control reviews of plans, designs and budgets.
• Licensed professional landscape architect
• AutoCAD 3D LandFX operation is a requirement
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, 3D modeling software SketchUp and Enscape or Lumion.
• Candidate shall have an understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Exhibits accuracy, attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Knowledge and experience in site analysis, grading, planting design, construction detailing, cost estimates and producing plan sets.
