Job Description - Shir Ami Early Learning Center is currently looking for a part-time aftercare teacher in our warm and welcoming early learning center.

Status: Non-Exempt

Responsibilities:

• Supervise children during after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities, including arts and crafts, games, and outdoor play.
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment in the after-care space.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in early childhood education or related field preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Ability to Relocate:

• Newtown, PA 18940: Relocate before starting work (Required)
