Shipyard Staffing has open and upcoming positions for Firewatch/General Labor in Bremerton, WA

Must be local to area. No per diem available for these positions.

Marine Firewatch/General Labor Job Duties:

MUST BE A US CITIZEN
MUST BE DBIDS ELIGIBLE
MUST BE LOCAL TO THE AREA
Assist welders in Setting up for hot work
Assisting all trades in the set and tear down of various projects shipboard
General shipyard labor
Moving equipment and supplies to multiple locations on the ship
Policing area for flammable/combustible material and keeping it safely away from hot work.
Cleaning area during cooldown and at end of shift
Staying alert and aware for hazardous situations or fires that may occur during the course of hot work.
Other duties as assigned

Marine Firewatch/General Labor Requirements:

Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Must pass background and drug screen
1 year of shipyard experience preferred but not required.
Maritime OSHA 10 (if you don’t have it, we will provide the class at no cost)
Firewatch certification (if you don’t have it, we will provide the class at no cost)
Respirator fit certification
