Shippers is Hiring a Forklift Operator - 1st & 2nd (Clamp Experience) Near Jonesboro, GA

Standard warehouse operations duties to include, but not limited to Forklift Operation. (additional details upon of position upon interview).
Required Experience:
The Shippers Group is currently looking for 1st and 2nd shift forklift operators. Clamp experience is preferred, but not required if there is a history of forklift experience.
1st shift - 6am - 3pm
2nd shift - 3pm - 12am
General Responsibilities
- Pick merchandise from the distribution center and transport it to the shipping bay
- Receive merchandise for return or delivery and verify its contents
- Count and stock merchandise based on inventory control log
- Identify damaged, lost or missing merchandise and notify supervisor immediately
- Treat merchandise with care and concern at all times
- Train and support new employees as they are on-boarded
- Clamp Truck experience
- Scan all orders to determine appropriate contents as well as end destination
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- Current forklift certification a plus
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
- Ability to work on feet and carry objects weighing more than 50 lbs
