Sr. Lead Generation Marketing Manager - SaaS

About Us:

ShipperHQ is a startup headquartered in Austin, TX making a big impact in the e-commerce shipping space. Founded in 2009, we are a premier supplier of shipping software for e-commerce sites, selling to both SMB and Enterprise customers. We have 40 team members spread across the US, UK, Canada, India and Australia. 30 members are based in Austin, TX. We are seeking an outgoing individual with a positive attitude who is willing to grow with the company.

What You'll Do:

As the Sr. Lead Generation Marketing Manager, you’ll own the marketing budget, determine the optimal marketing mix, and prioritize spending to maximize qualified leads. You will collaborate with a fast-paced team of marketers, onboarding specialists, designers, and developers to help tell ShipperHQ’s story and design its future.

You’ll need a B2B marketing background, with particular expertise in developing and executing lead generation campaigns. You should be highly analytical and measurement-driven, focusing marketing resources in the areas that provide the best returns.

Your Impact:

  • Work with a cross-functional team (Product, Support, Sales) to establish growth strategies to support ShipperHQ’s revenue goals.

  • Develop the overall lead generation strategy to fill the sales funnel most cost-effectively

  • Manage marketing budget and prioritize spending to maximize qualified leads

  • Create and execute lead-generation plans that deliver significant volumes of qualified leads cost-effectively, including SEO, email marketing, PPC (already very good at this), social media, and new marketing channels

  • Create automated programs to nurture existing web traffic

  • Rigorously measure the lead and customer acquisition cost for each marketing channel and adjust spending to maximize ROI

  • Maximize website conversion rate through A/B testing of changes to website structure, design, and content

  • Analyze industry trends, market conditions, and competitors’ marketing tactics to identify new opportunities

What we're looking for:

  • Experience: 4 years experience with B2B online marketing programs, with a focus on lead generation, particularly in SAAS. Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills, both effective verbal communication and business writing, bringing experience and expertise to impactful copywriting.

  • Tech-Savvy: Possessing knowledge of marketing technologies such as CRM, marketing automation, and web analytics (with proficiency in HTML and WordPress), you bring expertise in an array of lead generation tactics, encompassing SEO, email marketing, content marketing, PPC, and social media.

  • Personality traits: You have strong analytical skills with a results-oriented, data-driven approach. Additionally, my adept project management and organizational skills contribute to successful outcomes in diverse endeavors.

  • Attitude: You're adept at navigating ambiguity and excelling in dynamic, rapidly growing organizations. You embrace challenges with a proactive mindset—saying, "I don't know, but I'm excited to figure it out and give it a try." You're known for meeting tight deadlines under pressure, fostering a collaborative team environment, and showcasing exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
