Job Description:
We are a trucking company based in Salt Lake City, UT, and looking to fill a local driver position.
Pay: This is an hourly-based paid position. $22-25 per hour pending experience & monthly $200 Safety bonus opportunity.
Job Duties:

• Complete thorough Pre-trip inspections on trucks and trailers
• Shuttle trailers to and from the terminal facility
• Deliver and pick up trailers to outside facilities
• Ability to climb in and out of trailers to complete washouts or blow-out trailers. The terminal yard has an automated wash bay and each driver is provided with a leaf blower to make this task easier.
• Assist with organizing the terminal yard
• Pick up preloaded trailers & delivering preloaded trailers and shuttle them to required locations
• HOS Rules must be adhered to for the following rules 70 hour/8-day & 34 hour resets rule. Even though it is an hourly pay via a time clock we require our Local Drivers to run logs, so the HOS would be no more than 11 hours total driving and no driving after the 14th hour of coming on duty without first having a 10-hour rest break.
• Assist with road tests as needed

Job Requirements:
Requirements for this position are:

• 12 months of verifiable tractor & trailer experience
• Must be at least 23 years old
• Current Class A CDL
• Current & valid Medical Card
• Ability to climb in and out of trailers to complete washouts or blow-out trailers
