Full Time Parts Runner

Shine Bros. Corp., founded in 1902, is a family owned and operated scrap metal recycling Company. Located in the Midwest, Shine Bros. Corp. processes both ferrous and nonferrous metals, specializing in auto shredding and wire chopping. Shine Bros. Corp. is a proud member of the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries, Inc. (ISRI). We are seeking a Parts Runner to join our team!

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

· Deliver and pick up parts and equipment

· Check with the parts manager before leaving for any last-minute pick-ups or deliveries

· Assist Parts Counter personnel

· Load and unload parts and equipment

· Drive a company owned truck

· Organize parts and equipment and securely tie-down for safe transportation

· Check and verify orders to confirm items, quantity and condition

· Organizing and cleaning warehouse and truck, including maintaining parts vehicle (notifies manager of any repairs or maintenance required)

· Receiving, restocking and counting inventory

· Communicating with fellow employees regarding parts

· Entering data into computer system

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· Prior experience or knowledge of machine parts a plus

· Valid driver’s license with a good driving record required
