• Core Duties:
  • Follow DOT and Hazard Communication Standard.
  • Safely load trailers with merchandise according to the load sheet.
  • Verify each pallet for proper stacking, accuracy, label placement, and absence of damages before loading onto the truck.
• Support Functions:
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Assist in order processing, including restacking and shrink-wrapping pallets.
  • Sweep out each trailer before loading to ensure cleanliness and orderliness.
• Interpersonal Engagement:
  • Work closely with the Shipping Supervisor and Order Coordinator to ensure efficient completion of the days work.
  • Assist in the proper training of all other loaders in the department.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and help minimize errors in order processing.
• Compliance and Ethics:
  • Ensure compliance with DOT and Hazard Communication standards.
  • Verify correct store bags, invoices, Haz-Mat paperwork, and store keys are on every truck before departure.
• Flexibility for Role-Specific Tasks:
  • Perform other duties as needed to support the department and company goals.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Experience in a warehouse environment and forklift operation required.
• Skills: Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining an outstanding attendance record.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and operating a forklift.

• Detail-Oriented: High level of accuracy in verifying load sheets and labels.
