Position Description: One of our clients in Santa Rosa, CA is hiring immediately. 5am-1:30pm Weekly pay after 1st week. This job is subject to background check and drug test.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, drawing specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
Examines components and connections for correct fit and ensures that the subassemblies or finished goods meet the design and intended use specifications.
Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
Follows detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures to:Assemble subassemblies using individual components.
Assemble finished goods using subassemblies and individual components.
Conducts continuous quality inspections of all components, subassemblies and finished goods to ensure that all quality requirements and specifications have been met.
Reports errors and defects to the production Supervisor immediately upon discovery and prevents defective products from being shipped to customers by stopping the assembly line until the defects are corrected.
Cross trained to fulfill all functions and responsibilities required in the Assembly and rotates through various tasks and functions on the assembly line.
Maintains a safe, clean and organized work area.
Complies with company policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Keeps equipment and tooling operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
Documents actions by completing production and quality forms as required.
Contributes to team effort by providing training and other forms of support to team members.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

High school diploma or equivalent
0-2 years assembly experience in component, subassembly, and final assembly of products.
Attention to detail.
Able to safely use manual, electric and pneumatic hand tools.
Knows how to read and can use measuring devices.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
Must have good eyesight, including depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to differentiate shapes, sizes, and colors. Excellent hand-eye coordination.
Ability to use hands to finger, handle and feel.
Ability to frequently sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Ability to reach within hands and arms length, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, occasionally lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
