Shift4 is Hiring a Business Analyst III - ERP Systems Near Center, PA

Shift4 (NYSE: FOUR) is digitally transforming our internal enterprise systems through the implementation of a holistic Enterprise Resource Planning platform. This system will touch all parts of the Shift4 business model including order management, engineering, supply chain, production, and financial systems. Our goal is to create a unified “single pane of glass” for which to operate all business processes within and transfer operations from current bespoke applications to this upgraded operating model.As a Senior Business Analyst, ERP Systems you will help create and define the requirements for this system through your experience in finance, accounting, manufacturing, or supply chain. You will meet with stakeholders, develop the technical documentation for each group, and support implementation of these systems across the enterprise. This is a dynamic and comprehensive role that will have a major impact on the way S4 conducts internal operations and will be an early adopter of these systems to define the company’s future state. You will join a highly motivated and technical Digital Transformation team seeking to upscale the Shift4 operating systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct discovery sessions with business leaders and stakeholders to effectively generate technical requirements for each divisionaloperation. Report directly to the VP, Enterprise Systems in this discovery phase.
  • Create and support technical documentation drafting to formalize requirements during vendor selection.
  • Participate in vendor demos, provide feedback, and analyze the effectiveness of each potential solution as it relates to the technical requirements.
  • Support the development of a technical implementation roadmap, including selection, data migration, strategic rollouts, and training of personnel on new systems.
  • Support and manage contractor implementation teams to ensure on time and on budget delivery of new infrastructure modules and identify any issues or bugs during rollouts.
  • Build out metadata for ingestion of parts, bill of materials (BOM) structures, accounting systems, and internal Shift4 processes.
  • Analyze adoption rates of new systems and create visuals to help executive leadership understand current and future architecture strategies.
  • Develop automations and API developments to connect external systems to newer, more optimized digital systems.
  • Create training materials and L&D plans to help push adoption rates of new systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of technical analysis or digital transformation work in a highly technical field. (Finance, manufacturing, or supply chain)
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Analytics, Mathematics, etc).
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning systems such as Oracle Fusion, SAP, Netsuite, or Microsoft Dynamics, preferably in a development or back end capacity.
  • Ability to create highly technical documentation, consolidate that information into presentations or one-pagers, and properly communicate technical details in a consumable way to executive leadership.
  • Experience writing automation in Python, or other API developments. Data analytics experience using Microsoft SQL Server or AWS and traditional BI analytics tools.
  • Ability to decompose business requirements from stakeholders, and desire to be hands-on with long term projects.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in a relevant technical field
  • Personal experience building and managing data pipelines, developing ETL processes, and managing data warehouses.
  • Experience with integrating multiple software systems through APIs, or performing large implementations of new software systems (such as an ERP, Salesforce, or other type of graphical user interface)
  • Experience with operational fundamentals such as corrective action reporting, non-conformances, inventory management, and data governance.
  • Personally led a major project from inception to integration
  • ERP Administrator experience in one of the major ERP platforms.
