LOW LEVEL EMBEDDED C DEVELOPMENT EXPEREINCE
JOB TITLE: Software Engineer
Primarily onsite position will allow for some flexibility occasionally for situations and more remote available work after 3 months (1-2 days) depending on work.
CLIENT SPECIFICS

• Can you give me an overview of your technology or product? What are you trying to accomplish?
• This is a short term but critical to stay on schedule. Don't expect the engineer to do too much designing, just good coding, embedded C, bare metal, display product, CAN product, but not doing anything CAN specific other than CAN testing (not critical to have in this instance) We are taking one display in production and converting because it is going to be obsolete. This new engineer won't know much about the machine from the outset, so my team will direct their activities, that work will be reviewed by then (5 others will be doing the same). Definitely need 1 maybe 2. In Commercial sw team. Typical design unit testing will also be something they need to do, some time on the machine itself (could be inside or outside driving around not sure). Managing code base from one product to another, different numbers of buttons, making sure that when they scroll through menus it works properly, the data from CAN has to be displayed correctly. UI/GUI exp not really needed, the painting part is all done with algorithm. There are various libraries to work with. Would like 5 years, but main thing is expertise in C.
